Rooms are ready for guests from 2:00 PM on agreed arrival day and should be left free by 11:00 AM on agreed departure day. Contact the Hotel directly to see if your room can be entered earlier, we are happy to let you in earlier if it is ready.

Depending on availability, early check-in can be offered at no additional charge on arrival day directly at the Hotel, and late checkout can be requested at the time of booking by email for an additional charge based on availability in low season. (applicable rate will be charged)

 

No pets please. Sorry, although we love animals, no pets are allowed on the Hotel premises as we have our own pets and don’t want there to be personality issues. If you have allergies, please note, we have 2cats that live on the property and from time to time 2 friendly dogs can be present on the property. No animals go inside the rooms.

Well-behave children over 5 years are welcome with parents being responsible for noise levels and any damage.

All rates can be modified without prior notice if deposit has not yet been made. All charges are subject to 13% VAT. We do not hold rooms without deposit, so please make sure to secure your booking by placing your deposit.

All rates are per night per room (based on single or double occupancy).

Our rooms are for 1 or 2 people unless you have arranged in advance for a 3rd or 4th person in the room, according to room layout and if sufficient beds are inside the room. We will do our best to accommodate you. Please let us know in advance to make sure we have a room with 2 separate beds for you if you needs that.

It is not possible to add a bed in the room. For an additional guest (3rd or 4th person occupancy) in existing beds, there is a $15 charge is added over the room rate per adult or $10 per child 5+ per night.

  • Check-In / Check-Out:
    Rooms are available from 2:00 PM on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 11:00 AM on the day of departure.

  • Pets:
    We are animal lovers, but no pets are allowed on the property, as we have our own resident pets.
    For guests with allergies, please note: we have a few cats, and occasionally two dogs on-site.
    No animals are permitted inside the rooms.

  • Children:
    Well-behaved children aged 5 and above are welcome.  Parents are responsible for supervision, noise levels, and any damages.

  • Rates:

    • Rates are per night, per room (based on single or double occupancy).

    • Prices may change without prior notice unless a deposit has been made.

    • All rates are subject to 13% VAT (Costa Rican tax).

    • Deposits are required to secure bookings; rooms are not held without one.

  • Room Occupancy:
    Rooms are for 1 or 2 guests, unless a 3rd or 4th guest has been approved in advance and a suitable room is available.
    If you require two separate beds, please let us know before arrival.
    (Note: AC kitchenettes include one double bed only.)

  • Additional Guests:

    • Adults (15+ years): +$15 per night

    • Children (5–15 years): +$10 per night
      Subject to room availability for extra occupants. Only AC kitchenette + AC standard can accommodate a family/friends of 5 people and must be requested at time of booking.

 

  • Visitors:
    For the safety and comfort of all guests, no unregistered visitors are allowed beyond the property gate. We do not have Day passes to the property for non-guests. Non guests can not use the Hotel parking lots, nor can large tour vans or busses.

Reservation & Cancellation Policy

Reservations & Deposits

  • Reservations must be confirmed at the time of booking with a 50% deposit of the total amount during high season and 1st night stay in Low season.

  • Accepted payment methods:
    Bank Transfer, Zelle, Cash (USD, Euros or CRC), BCR, SINPE Móvil, or Credit Card via an invoice through Square sent to your inbox.

  • All transaction fees are the responsibility of the guest.

  • Once payment is received, confirmation of stay will be sent via email.

Payment Schedule

Low Season

  • A 1st night deposit is required to confirm your reservation.

  • The balance is due:

    • One week before arrival or if arranged in advance, at check-in for direct guest reservations.

    • Two weeks in advance for reservations made through travel agencies.

Non-Holiday Periods (High Season)

  • A 50% deposit or FULL payment is required to confirm your reservation. (at the discretion of the Hotel)

  • If only 50% was paid at reservation, then The balance is due:

    • One month before arrival for direct reservation or travel agencies.

Holiday Periods (High Season: Christmas, New Year, Semana Santa, Envision, etc.):

  • A 3-night minimum stay applies.

  • A 50% deposit or FULL payment is required at the time of booking. . (at the discretion of the Hotel)

  • Remaining balance must be paid 60 days before arrival for direct reservation or travel agencies.

(via USD, CRC, SINPE, Invoice & Credit Card or Zelle).

 

Cancellations & Refunds

Low Season:

  • Cancellations must be made by email at least 30 days before arrival to qualify for a refund of the deposit.  If an exceptional voucher was issued, it can be applied only once towards a new reservation and cannot be subject to reissued credit at another time, staying within the original usage  limit date and for the same number of days originally booked.

  • The refund request needs to be by email and submitted within 3 days of the cancellation notice.

  • Refunds are processed within 10 days of the approved cancellation.

  • No credits or vouchers are issued.

  • If rebooking, date changes may be possible (subject to availability) and rate adjustments applied if necessary.

High Season:

  • Cancellations must be made by email at least 60 days before arrival to qualify for a refund of the deposit.  If an exceptional voucher was issued, it can be applied only once towards a new reservation and cannot be subject to reissued credit at another time, staying within the original usage  limit date and for the same number of days originally booked.

  • The refund request needs to be by email and submitted within 3 days of the cancellation notice.

  • Refunds are processed within 10 days of the approved cancellation.

  • No credits or vouchers are issued.

  • If rebooking, date changes may be possible (subject to availability) and rate adjustments applied if necessary.

Holiday Periods:

  • Deposits are non-refundable.

  • If cancellation is made at least 60 days before arrival, the remaining 50% balance will not be charged.

  • Cancellations made less than 60 days before arrival remain fully payable, with no refunds of the deposit. No credit or vouchers.

Group / Agency Reservations

  • Group bookings follow the same terms as above.

  • Full & final payment is required 60 days before arrival.

  • To receive a refund, group cancellations must be made by email at least 60 days before arrival; otherwise, the deposit is forfeited.

  • If the number of rooms changes, the total amount may be adjusted accordingly, but the original deposit is not refundable or transferable toward fewer rooms.

 

Group Reservation Policy

Deposits & Payments

  • A 50% deposit is required 4 months before arrival to hold the rooms.

    • Once the deposit is paid, no refund or credit will be issued 60 days before arrival.

  • The final payment for all confirmed rooms is due 60 days before arrival.

    • After final payment, no refund or credit will be given for unused rooms.

  • Any modifications to the number of rooms must be made before the 60-day deadline, prior to final payment.

    • After final payment, the number of rooms cannot be reduced, and the deposit remains non-refundable.

  • Additional rooms may be added, subject to availability.

  • Final payment is calculated based on the confirmed number of rooms 60 days before arrival.

Cancellations, How to:

  • All cancellations must be sent via email to:

  • Once we receive your email, we’ll send a written confirmation of cancellation.

  • Refund requests must be submitted within 3 days of cancellation.

    • If no refund request email is received within that period, the refund is forfeited.

  • Deposits are non-refundable and cannot be credited toward future stays or adjusted bookings.

No-Show Policy

  • A no-show without notice is considered late cancellation.

    • The deposit will be forfeited, and no refund or credit will be issued.

    • Remaining reservation days will be automatically cancelled and are no longer valid.

    • The Hotel is not obliged to reinstate the reservation.

    • To rebook, a new reservation and deposit will be required, subject to availability.

 

Changes to Check-In / Check-Out Dates

  • Requests for date changes must be sent in advance.

  • The Hotel will do its best to accommodate changes based on availability and current room rates.

  • If changes cannot be accommodated, the original cancellation policy applies.

 

Lost & Found / Valuables

  • The Hotel will make every effort to return items left in rooms; however, we cannot be held responsible for lost valuables.

  • The Hotel assumes no liability for vehicles (rental or personal) parked on the property.

    • Please avoid leaving valuables inside your vehicle anywhere in Costa Rica.

  • We are happy to store your luggage safely behind reception for the day until 4 pm after checkout (no long-term storage available). For groups, this needs to be organized in advance with the property.

  • If you have left something behind, please email or WhatsApp us promptly so we can assist in recovering it.

    • Unclaimed items after a period will be donated to local charities.
