Rates and conditions
Rooms are ready for guests from 2:00 PM on agreed arrival day and should be left free by 11:00 AM on agreed departure day. Contact the Hotel directly to see if your room can be entered earlier, we are happy to let you in earlier if it is ready. firstname.lastname@example.org or whatsapp: (506) 8478-0147
Depending on availability, early check in can be offered at no additional charge on arrival day directly at the Hotel, and late check out (by 5:00 PM) can be requested at the time of booking for an additional 60$ charge (in case of room check-out after 5:00 PM, the full applicable rate will have to be charged in lieu of the “late check out”).
Sorry, although we love animals, no pets are allowed on the Hotel premises as we have our own pets and don’t want there to be personality issues. If you have allergies, please note, we have a few cats and 2 dogs who you may see around the property. They do not go inside the rooms.
Well-behave children over 5 years are welcome with parents being responsible for noise levels.
All rates and charges are subject to 13% VAT and can change without prior notice. We do not hold rooms without deposit, so please make sure to secure your booking by placing your deposit.
During Holiday periods, 3 nights minimum. All rates are per night per room (based on single or double occupancy). The room is for 1 or 2 people unless you have arranged in advance for a 3rd or 4th person, providing the adequate room is available. If you need 2 beds, not one double bed, please let us know in advance to make sure we have a room with 2 separate beds for you. Otherwise, at arrival, it is based on availability. For an additional guest (to get to 3rd or 4th person occupancy), a $15 charge is added over the room rate per person, per night. (Subject to availability) No outside guests are allowed on the property beyond the gate, for the safety & security of all our guests, especially during busy Holiday times. Reservation and cancellation policy
Reservations must be confirmed at the time of booking with a deposit amounting to 50% of the reservation total. The deposit can be by transferring by PayPal, Bank transfer, Zelle, Venmo , USD or CR colones cash, SINPE MOVIL or by using a valid Credit Card and paying an invoice that is sent to you by Square. All Fees are at the charge of the client; Friends & Family is a “no fee” way to pay used by PayPal: free, so if you choose to use Goods & Services, the fee is yours to pay. Once paid, a confirmation of your stay will be sent to you.
Final payment during Holiday times for booking is to be made 30 days before your arrival. No refund afterwards if canceled or modified, client is responsible for the original reservation amount due.
In non Holiday times, 50% reservation amount is due at reservation and the remaining amount due should be paid at arrival in USdollars or CRcolones or SINPE to the Hotel. A refund will be issued only if the cancellation is made by email 30 days before arrival date and the request for refund of the deposit needs to be made within 3 days of cancellation. The refund of the deposit will be refunded within 10 days of the cancellation.
For individual reservations, If the reservation is cancelled 30 days before the arrival date by email or more prior to Check-In date (early cancellation), the deposit will be reimbursed net of bank processing charges or fees. A refund will be issued only if the cancellation is made by email 30 days before arrival date and the request for refund of the deposit needs to be made within 3 days of cancellation. The refund of the deposit will be refunded within 10 days of the cancellation.
For group reservations, If the reservation is cancelled 61 days or more by email prior to Check-In (early cancellation), the deposit will be reimbursed net of bank processing charges or fees. If the booking is modified within the 60-31 days before arrival Client is still responsible for the original reservation, meaning the original number of rooms booked concerning the deposit but we can adapt the booking for the final payment according to the number of rooms ultimately needed. If modification within the 30 days before arrival of the original reservation, the full amount is still due based on the original reservation. If the reservation is cancelled 60 days or less for group bookings prior to Check-In (late cancellation), the deposit will be forfeited, no refund. 30 days before group arrival, remaining payment is due in full.
All cancellations must be sent via e-mail to: email@example.com (office hours 9-6pm CR time). Once we receive it, we sent you a confirmation of the cancellation. Refund requests must be submitted within the 3 days following a cancellation or lost. It is the client’s responsibility to request the refund within the allocated time frame.
In case of a no-show, without notice, the late cancellation policy as described above will apply (deposit will be forfeited, no refund) and any remaining reservation days will be cancelled by the Hotel Management and no longer valid for use by the client. Once the Hotel has received notice that you are cancelling, a room or rooms, that room is no longer available to the client and Hotel is not obligated to reinstate said reservation. A new reservation would need to be requested at that time based on availability, and a new deposit & payment would be requested.
In case of changes in the Check-In or Check-Out dates of a reservation, the Hotel Management, in accordance with the guests and depending on the Hotel availability, will do its best to organize the requested change whenever possible, based on availability, at the current price listed. If there is no possibility to accommodate requested change, the cancellation policies as described above will apply.
Reservation and Cancellation policies are subject to change without prior notice. Reservations are confirmed once deposit is paid. The Hotel tries to return to you all objects left in the rooms but declines all responsibilities for valuables left. The Hotel also declines all responsibility of your rental car or personal car left in the parking lot. We recommend to everybody to not leave anything in your parked car anywhere in Cost Rica.
If you have left something behind in your room, please WhatsApp us or email us in a timely fashion so we have the best chance to get back the article to you. After a period left items will be donated to local charities.
