Rates and conditions
Rooms are ready for guests from 2:00 PM on agreed arrival day and should be left free by 11:00 AM on agreed departure day. Contact the Hotel directly to see if your room can be entered earlier, we are happy to let you in earlier if it is ready. email@example.com or whatsapp: (506) 8478-0147
Depending on availability, early check in can be offered at no additional charge on arrival day directly at the Hotel, and late check out (by 5:00 PM) can be requested at the time of booking for an additional 60$ charge (in case of room check-out after 5:00 PM, the full applicable rate will have to be charged in lieu of the “late check out”).
Sorry, although we love animals, no pets are allowed on the Hotel premises as we have our own pets and don’t want there to be personality issues. If you have allergies, please note, we have a few cats and 2 dogs who you may see around the property. They do not go inside the rooms.
Well-behave children over 5 years are welcome with parents being responsible for noise levels.
All rates and charges are subject to 13% VAT and can change without prior notice. We do not hold rooms without deposit, so please make sure to secure your booking by placing your deposit.
During Holiday periods, 3 nights minimum. All rates are per night per room (based on single or double occupancy). The room is for 1 or 2 people unless you have arranged in advance for a 3rd or 4th person, providing the adequate room is available. If you need 2 beds, not one double bed, please let us know in advance to make sure we have a room with 2 separate beds for you. Otherwise, at arrival, it is based on availability. For an additional guest (to get to 3rd or 4th person occupancy), a $15 charge is added over the room rate per person, per night. (Subject to availability) No outside guests are allowed on the property beyond the gate, for the safety & security of all our guests, especially during busy Holiday times.
Reservation and cancellation policy
Reservations must be confirmed at the time of booking with a deposit amounting to 50% of the reservation total. The deposit can be by transferring by PayPal, Bank transfer, Zelle, Venmo ,Cash, or by using a valid Credit Card and paying an invoice that is sent to you by Square. All Fees are at the charge of the client; Friends & Family is a no fee way to pay used by PayPal: free, so if you choose to use Goods& Services, the fee is yours to pay). Once paid, a confirmation of your stay will be sent to you.
Final payment during these Holiday times for booking is to be made 30 days before your arrival. No refund afterwards.
For individual reservations, If the reservation is cancelled 31 days by email or more prior to Check-In (early cancellation), the deposit will be reimbursed net of bank processing charges or fees. Otherwise no refund.
For group reservations, If the reservation is cancelled 61 days or more by email prior to Check-In (early cancellation), the deposit will be reimbursed net of bank processing charges or fees. Otherwise no refund.
In case the reservation is cancelled 30 days or less prior to Check-In (late cancellation), the deposit will be forfeited, no refund.
All cancellations must be sent via e-mail to: firstname.lastname@example.org (office hours 9-6pm CR time). Once we receive it, we sent you a confirmation of the cancellation. Refund requests must be submitted within the next 20 days or lost. It is the clients responsibility to request the refund within the allocated time frame.
In case of a no-show, without notice, the late cancellation policy as described above will apply (deposit will be forfeited, no refund) and any remaining reservation days will be cancelled by the Hotel Management and no longer valid for use.
In case of changes in the Check-In or Check-Out dates of a reservation, the Hotel Management, in accordance with the guests and depending on the Hotel availability, will do its best to organize the requested change whenever possible, based on availability, at the current price listed. If there is no possibility to accommodate requested change, the cancellation policies as described above will apply.
Reservation and Cancellation policies are subject to change without prior notice. Reservations are confirmed once deposit is paid. The Hotel tries to return to you all objects left in the rooms but declines all responsibilities for valuables left. If you have left something behind, please WhatsApp us or email us in a timely fashion so we have the best change to get back the article to you. After a period left items will be donated to local charities.

*At Check-In, full payment in Cash (USDollars or local Colones) is required. Dominical does not have a Bank, best to get cash before your arrival to the hotel. The ATM in town does have moments that it does not work or could be out of money. You full payment will be requested at Check-in, so best to come with the amount due for your stay. Once your check-in has been paid, no refunds will be issued if your plans change.
* We are a quiet hotel and those checking-in with youngsters are expected to be respectful of other guests who come to enjoy the tranquility of our little oasis. We ask for the parents to be always responsible and aware of their children’s behavior and noise level while on the premises. We ask no kids under 5 years old please.
We also no longer can accept others peoples furry loved ones. We are big animals lovers and as such we have our own and prefer to avoid any disturbances or issues that could arise introducing other fur babies. Thank you.
*By paying your deposit and/or our invoice, you acknowledge that you have read and understand all Hotel policies and have accepted and will abide by our Terms & Conditions.
