                                                      Rates and conditions

 

Rooms are ready for guests from 2:00 PM on agreed arrival day and should be left free by 11:00 AM on agreed departure day. Contact the Hotel directly to see if your room can be entered earlier, we are happy to let you in earlier if it is ready.

Depending on availability, early check-in can be offered at no additional charge on arrival day directly at the Hotel, and late checkout can be requested at the time of booking by email for an additional charge based on availability. (applicable rate will be charged)

 

No pets please. Sorry, although we love animals, no pets are allowed on the Hotel premises as we have our own pets and don’t want there to be personality issues. If you have allergies, please note, we have a couple cats and from time to time 2 dogs can be present around the property. No animals go inside the rooms.

 

Well-behave children over 5 years are welcome with parents being responsible for noise levels and any damage.

 

All rates can be modified without prior notice if deposit has not yet been made. All charges are subject to 13% VAT. We do not hold rooms without deposit, so please make sure to secure your booking by placing your deposit.

 

All rates are per night per room (based on single or double occupancy). The room is for 1 or 2 people unless you have arranged in advance for a 3rd or 4th person, providing the adequate room is available for you. If you need 2 beds, not one double bed, please let us know in advance to make sure we have a room with 2 separate beds for you.

It is not possible to add a bed in the room. For an additional guest (3 rd or 4th person occupancy), a $15 charge is added over the room rate per adult / $10 per child 6+, per night. (Subject to availability for room that can accept more than 2 people)

 

No outside unregistered guests are allowed on the property beyond the gate, for the safety & security of all our guests, especially during busy Holiday times. Thank you for understanding.

 

Reservation and cancellation policy Reservations must be confirmed at the time of booking with a deposit amounting to 50% of the reservation total. The deposit can be by transferring by PayPal, Bank transfer, Zelle, USD or CR colones cash, SINPE MOVIL or by using a valid Credit Card and paying an invoice that is sent to you by Square.

All Fees are at the charge of the client; ‘Friends & Family’ (sending to a friend) is a “no fee” (Free) way to pay used by PayPal, but if you choose to use ‘Goods & Services’, the 4% fee is yours to pay. Once paid, a confirmation of your stay will be sent to you.

In Holiday times:

Deposit (50%) is requested upon reservation to confirm reservation.

Final payment can be requested during Holiday time 30 days before date arrival.

No refund will be given once deposit is paid, unless 31 days before arrival date. If reservation is cancelled or modified within the 30days, client is still responsible for the original reservation amount due.

 

In non-Holiday times:

Deposit (1st night stay) is requested upon reservation to confirm reservation.

Final payment can be given at Check-In in USdollars or CRcolones

No refund will be given once deposit is paid, unless 31 days before arrival date. If reservation is cancelled or modified within the 30days, client is still responsible for the original reservation amount due.

A refund will be issued only if the cancellation is made by email 31 days before arrival date and the request for refund of the deposit needs to be made within 3 days of cancellation. The refund of the deposit will be refunded within 10 days of the cancellation. Fees are at the charge of the client.

Individual/family/couple reservations, If the reservation is cancelled 31 days before the arrival date by email or more prior to Check-In date (early cancellation), the deposit will be reimbursed net of bank processing charges or fees. A refund will be issued only if the cancellation is made by email 31 days before arrival date and the request for refund of the deposit needs to be made within 3 days of cancellation. The refund of the deposit will be refunded within 10 days of the cancellation.

Group reservations, 50% due at reservation to hold rooms.  Final payment due for all confirmed rooms 60 days before arrival date.  Once paid no refund or credit will be given for any unused rooms.  If cancellation of booking or any rooms, this needs to be done 61 days before arrival date.  Any modifications to number of rooms to booking needs to be done before the 61 day arrival date, before final payment. Once final payment is made there is no refund or credit given for unused rooms, no return of deposit. Final payment to be paid 60 days before arrival date based on confirmed number of rooms. Additional rooms may be allocated but based on availability

 

All cancellations must be sent via e-mail to: tropicalsandsdominical@gmail.com (office hours 9-6pm CR time). Once we receive it, we sent you a confirmation of the cancellation. Refund requests must be submitted within the 3 days following a cancellation or lost. It is the client’s responsibility to request the refund within the allocated time frame.

 

In case of a no-show and without notice, the late cancellation policy as described above will apply (deposit will be forfeited, no refund) and any remaining reservation days will be cancelled by the Hotel Management and no longer valid for use by the client.

 

Once the Hotel has received notice that you are cancelling, a room or rooms, that room is no longer available to the client and Hotel is not obligated to reinstate said reservation. A new reservation would need to be requested at that time based on availability, and a new deposit & payment would be requested. In case of changes in the Check-In or Check-Out dates of a reservation, the Hotel Management, in accordance with the guests and depending on the Hotel availability, will do its best to organize the requested change whenever possible, based on availability, at the current price listed. If there is no possibility to accommodate requested change, the cancellation policies as described above will apply.

 

Reservation and Cancellation policies are subject to change without prior notice. Reservations are confirmed once deposit is paid.

The Hotel tries to return to you all objects left in the rooms but declines all responsibilities for valuables left. The Hotel also declines all responsibility of your rental car or personal car left in the parking lot. We recommend to everybody to not leave anything in your parked car anywhere in Cost Rica.

If you have left something behind in your room, please WhatsApp us or Email us in a timely fashion so we have the best chance to get back the article to you. We will do our best  to reunite your objects with you.

After a period left items will be donated to local charities.
